What is TEDxUCC?

TEDxUCC is an independently organized TEDx event licensed by TED and proudly hosted at the University of Cape Coast. Rooted in TED’s mission of sharing “ideas worth spreading,” TEDxUCC brings together thought-leaders, changemakers, innovators, and creatives from Ghana and beyond to inspire our campus and the broader community. TEDxUCC offers a platform where powerful ideas intersect with culture, technology, education, and the arts—creating space for growth, innovation, and impact.

Our Journey

Established in 2024, TEDxUCC began as a dream to foster deep, meaningful conversations among students, faculty, and professionals. With our debut event themed “Breaking Barriers”, we aimed to challenge norms, spark bold ideas, and inspire collective action. Today, we continue that journey by curating impactful events that empower individuals and communities through storytelling and shared experiences.
